The Swiss Airline Baboo has just announced plans to offer a regular weekly flight from Oxford Airport to Geneva Airport. The flights will run on Saturday’s beginning on December 19th.
The aircraft used will be a Bombardier Q400 with prices staring from just seventy eight pounds one way. The announcement follows closely the decision by Baboo to offer eleven flights weekly from London City Airport to Geneva. Fares for these London flights begin at just fifty one pounds one way.
Baboo Airlines now offers flights to eighteen locations with services to Geneva available from Marseille and Milan.
The opening of the Oxford route will be a historic day for the airport as it is the 1st scheduled international flight to Oxford. Up until now the airport has mainly dealt with charter flights. Speaking on behalf of Baboo, Jacques Bankir stated his delight regarding the new route seeing it as an ideal way for British customers to book a ski trip and still avoid crowded airports.
